It’s very easy and enjoyable. After preparing your face with warm water, soak your brush in warm water for a few seconds and flick off any excess moisture. If you are using a shaving bowl, work up a mound of rich lather with a small amount of shaving cream by swirling the brush in the bowl. Then, apply the shaving cream to your face until it is covered in lather and then begin shaving.
You can also work up a lather by swirling shaving cream directly on your face or in the cup of your hand. Always rinse off you shaving brush after each use and hang it on a shaving brush stand.
Different men have different approaches to creating lather and applying it to their face. We have seen many articles, posts and videos about the subject but we think most overly complicate a simple task. Just dive in and try it and don't worry about the "perfect" way. Experiment and practice and you'll soon have the lather and shave you always wanted. |
