Some of the effective ingredients included to clean your face are: - Salicylic Acid - Proven performance for opening clogged pores and minimize blemishes. Often used very effectively for fighting off acne. Salicylic Acid exfoliates dead surface skin cells, revealing healthier, toned, renewed skin underneath, without irritation and overdrying. More powerful than an Alpha-Hydroxy Acid like Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid cleans more deeply to rid the pores of impurities. This is an effective treatment for breakout-prone skin since clogged pores lead to acne. Bar None contains 1.9% Salicylic Acid.

- Don't overdo it: Wash your face only twice per day, morning and evening. Excess washing can cause irritation. Use only your bare hands to wash and don't use a wash cloth which can be irritating. Regular bar soap or body shower gels can really dry out your face. We recommend using facial cleanser gels/liquids.
- After a shave, don't just rinse your face and walk out the door. You've just removed a layer of skin. ALWAYS apply an alcohol-free product so you don't irritate the skin at its most vulnerable moment after shaving. And start NOW (just ask your female friends). - Always use a good shaving cream or shaving soap. Inexpensive foams in cans are often mostly air with irritating ingredients.
