The Art of Shaving Sandalwood Pre Shave Oil helps you get an extra close shave without irritation. Ideal for men with normal to dry skin suffering from shaving irritation. Works by creating an extra slick surface so your razor easily glides across your skin without nicks, cuts, and tugging. Softens facial hair. Helps face feel moisturized after shaving.
The Art of Shaving Sandalwood Pre Shave Oil is used under a layer of shaving cream. Packed with natural ingredients selected for their therapeutic skin properties. Sandalwood comes from a tree found in India with a woodsy, very masculine aroma, reputedly aphrodisiacal. Its moisturizing, regenerating, antiseptic properties are recommended for dry skin. Your skin won't feel oily after using and there is no oily residue. Classy, thick and durable glass bottle looks great on any sink. Light sandalwood scent.
Pre-shave oils are used to soften your daily beard growth before shaving and make it easier to shave. Interestingly, these products work without making your face feel oily. Basically, the pre-shave lubrication makes it easier for your blade to glide across your skin without tugging and irritation. We do not recommend using a pre shave oil with a shaving brush.

Grooming Tips
- Don't overdo it: Wash your face only twice per day, morning and evening. Excess washing can cause irritation. Use only your bare hands to wash and don't use a wash cloth which can be irritating. Regular bar soap or body shower gels can really dry out your face. We recommend using facial cleanser gels/liquids.
- After a shave, don't just rinse your face and walk out the door. You've just removed a layer of skin. ALWAYS apply an alcohol-free product so you don't irritate the skin at its most vulnerable moment after shaving. And start NOW (just ask your female friends). It's no secret that using high-quality moisturizers earlier in life yields big payouts later. Think of it as a golden parachute for your skin.
- Always use a good shaving cream or shaving soap. Inexpensive foams in cans are often mostly air with irritating ingredients.
- Try to shave during or right after a shower. The hot steam makes your skin easier to shave for a closer shave with less irritation.
- If your face ever stings from using a product, stop using it immediately.
- A shaving brush doesn't take any longer to use than your fingers and is the key to achieving the perfect shave. Men are always amazed at the huge improvement in their shave when using a badger shaving brush.
